Newman University has named Aaron Ryder as its new Director of Facilities. Ryder has听spend听more than听20听years in the U.S. Air Force in roles that included managing operations across 1,200 buildings, leading teams of more than 300 personnel and overseeing budgets as large as $43 million.听He was听assigned to posts in听Florida,听Texas听and South Korea, with his most recent听assignment听at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va., where he was a听civil engineering division superintendent听managing a听$12 billion听facilities portfolio across 35 installations.听Now retired from the Air Force, Ryder holds a听Master of Business Administration听from Liberty University and a project management professional certification.听
