SUNYs Fredonia Campus Enhances Residence Halls
FREDONIA, N.Y. — The State University of New York (SUNY) College at Fredonia campus is currently upgrading three of its residence halls to preserve the halls’ historical aesthetic while also increasing their energy efficiency.


Barry Oliver, AIA, has joined Hastings+Chivetta Architects as a contract administrator. In his new role, Oliver will assist with the quality control review process and represent clients’ interests during construction. Oliver has developed a thorough knowledge of specifications, building codes and construction contracts as well as the design and construction process through his work as a contract administrator, architect and project manager for over 33 years.
Conducting both small- and large-scale projects on an active school or university campus is a delicate process. Project teams must consider student, faculty, parent and visitor safety from all angles, while also ensuring the security of the project site itself.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Moses Brown School, a college preparatory school located in Providence, is currently constructing a 25,295-square-foot facility that will serve as the hub of academic, artistic, social and spiritual life on the school’s campus.
