BERKELEY, Calif. — The $25 million Berkeley High School (BHS) South of Bancroft Project was substantially completed on Aug. 15. Minor corrective work and paperwork still need to be finished before the project reaches final completion.
Marilyn Taylor, renowned architect and dean of the Penn School of Design, will extend her tenure at the university through June 2016. Taylor accepted her position in 2008, and has since seen the department’s study body grow by 13 percent. Taylor is a former partner at Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP, where she served in the Urban Design and Planning practice.
