University of Louisville Debuts Collegiate Soccer Stadium
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The men’s and women’s soccer teams played their first game in the newly constructed Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn Stadium (or simply Lynn Stadium) on Aug. 29 in Louisville. The stadium is the largest collegiate soccer venue in the country, and it took about 15 months to complete.


Amale Andraos has been named the new dean of the Graduate School of Architect, Preservation and Planning at Columbia University in New York, where she has been a faculty member for the past three years. Andraos has also taught at Harvard, the University of Pennsylvania and American University in her native Beirut.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Global design, architecture, engineering and planning firm HOK, headquartered in St. Louis, recently acquired sports, athletics and recreation design firm 360 Architecture of Kansas City.
