Lisa Nickel, principal of South Meadows School, gave Chelsea School Board members a tour of the new construction prior to their meeting Monday. The construction includes a new gymnasium, art and music rooms, and renovations to classrooms and the playground.

Unity elementary school is opening its doors on Monday after the building passed inspection on Saturday. The school was shut down in July over several fire code violations.
