Construction projects completed, approved
In monthly construction reports to the committee as a whole for business affairs and administrative for the St. Tammany Parish School Board on Thursday night, three projects were deemed complete and two bids accepted as recommended favorable for the regular board meeting May 20.

COUNCIL BLUFFS — The Council Bluffs school board on Tuesday could select Andersen Construction Co. of Council Bluffs as the contractor for two new elementary schools to be finished in time for the 2011-12 school year.

The Council Bluffs school board could choose Andersen Construction Co. of Council Bluffs as the contractor for two new elementary schools to be finished for the 2011-12 school year. The company submitted the lowest bids to construct the facility at Valley View and College Road and the new Carter Lake Elementary School.
