More than $150 million earmarked by the state for school construction since 2002 should finally be on its way to school districts, even though half of the projects already have been completed. According to numbers Gov. Quinn released this week, Chicago area school districts are in line to receive $67.2 million of the $167 million awarded.
The Mobridge-Pollock School District has been granted $4.555 million by the federal government to completely renovate the current middle school and complete construction of the new building project.
