HOK recently announced that Trevor Bechtold, an associate in HOK鈥檚 Kansas City office, will join Nate Appleman, AIA, LEED AP, (Kansas City) and John Rhodes (London) as directors of the firm鈥檚 Sports, Recreation + Entertainment group. Bechtold will focus on collegiate and university clients.

Bechtold has extensive experience in the design of sports facilities, with recent projects including the Penn State University Lasch Building and Clemson University鈥檚 Allen N. Reeves Football Complex. He understands how to work with administrators, coaches and student-athletes to develop spaces that meet the needs of all constituents at the highest levels of competition in collegiate sports.
