HMC Architects has named Kristina Singiser, AIA, LEED AP, DBIA as managing principal of the firm鈥檚 Los Angeles office where she is responsible for the strategic direction and overall performance of the studio. Previously serving as principal-in-charge, Singiser鈥檚 move comes at a time when the firm is taking important steps to invest in the future of its Los Angeles design studio and overall position in the region.
Since joining HMC in 2013, Singiser has earned an amazing reputation with the clients she serves in the firm鈥檚 higher education market. She has a strong background in student housing and has worked on several academic buildings for community college campuses. With a wealth of design-build experience, Singiser last year also achieved the design-build industry鈥檚 highest designation as a nationally certified Design-Build Professional. In the last five years, she鈥檚 been largely involved in the active pursuit of new work, and management and development of large higher education projects for San Diego State University, California Polytechnic Institute Pomona, and California State University Fullerton.
