Mark McCarthy
National architecture firm KSQ Design recently announced the addition of Mark McCarthy, AIA, LEED AP, as principal and national design director. McCarthy will work out of the firm’s White Plains, N.Y., and New York City offices. With a resume that includes international design experience, teaching in a New York City public middle school and working in graphic design, McCarthy brings a wealth of expertise and insight to the firm’s design team and clients.

Lewis Perkins has been appointed president of the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute by the institute’s Board of Directors. Perkins had been serving as the organization’s interim president since October 2015. He first joined the institute as senior vice president in 2012, prior to which he was director of sustainable strategies for The Mohawk Group.
ST. LOUIS — Webster University in St. Louis will begin construction on a new 85,000-square-foot Interdisciplinary Science Building (ISB) later this month. Construction crews will start by staking out the physical perimeter of the building before preparing the site.
