Impact Recovery Systems introduces its Ped-in-a-Bag pedestrian sign for school zones and crossing-guards. The new pedestrian safety sign can be removed from the base in a matter of seconds, so users can carry it anywhere, according to the company. It weighs 26 pounds and comes with its own carrying bag. It also comes with the company’s patented, anti-twist reactive spring system, which returns the unit to its original position after impact.


John Furman has been appointed the north region manager of Heery International. Based in Baltimore, Furman is responsible for directing business development, design and construction services throughout Heery’s 26-state north region.
