Retrofit Roofing SystemCeco Building Systems newest product, the NuRoof, is a metal retrofit framing system capable of replacing leaky old roofs and/or changing the aesthetics of a building. An alternative to conventional roofing, the retrofit system installs 16- to 12-gauge steel framing over existing frames to create a sloped plane and provide a surface for a standing-seam roof. NuRoof works with roofs of any slope; roofs consisting of steel, wood, or concrete; and those containing built-up or single-ply membranes. Synthetic Turf AdhesivesSynthetic Surfaces Inc. introduced its Nordot Adhesives, a line of synthetic adhesives designed to prevent unwanted movement that leads to seam openings, bubbling and wrinkling during the installation of outdoor and indoor turfs. The company’s outdoor adhesive contains high green strength and curing urethanes, making it applicable in any weather, including windy, damp, dry and cold conditions. The Nordot line also maintains a wide working window, allowing installers plenty of time to lay the turf before bonding sets in, according to the company. Glass Wall SystemNanaWall operable glass wall systems are designed to maximize floor space in schools and increase classroom flexibility. The system can be used to either combine classroom activities or to separate students for specific activities and is ideal for fitness rooms, cafeterias and performance halls. With its sound-dampening feature, the wall system isolates noisy activities while optional incorporated swing doors make for easy access into the next room or area. Craig Shelley
