Campus to Receive First Housing Village
AKRON, Ohio — The Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) in Akron, Ohio, has partnered with Akron-based Signet Development, to construct a new on-campus residential housing village for NEOMED.

Report Details the Future of California鈥檚 K-12 Schools

Digital Learning System

Synchronized Clocks
The DuraTime 2.4 GHz clock system from BRG Precision includes dual-redundant master clocks that obtain time updates and sends them directly to all secondary clocks by using the system’s integrated, wireless, multi-path communications and data network. With the ability to automatically shift from daylight savings time to standard time, the RC100 master clocks also feature built-in network time receivers that allow users to sync local and public times servers. An optional wireless GPS time receiver is also available to provide simultaneous, redundant time acquisition.
Steve Thweatt
Former University of Colorado architect Steve Thweatt, who was instrumental in building the ATLAS technology hub and the Wolf Law Building, as well as implementing the business school expansion, will return to the CU-Boulder campus as the executive director of facilities management. Thweatt currently serves as an associate vice president of planning, design and construction at Emory University.
Kenna Scragg
Gainesville, Fla.-based Charles Perry Partners, Inc. has recently appointed regional manager Kenna Scragg. He will continue to partake in CPPI’s educational, commercial, and health care construction projects, including Georgia Southern University’s Sanford Hall renovation in Statesboro, Ga., and Crawford County Elementary School project in Roberta, Ga.
Architects Deliver on P3 Promises

Cobb County Brings New Schools for a New Year
MARIETTA, Ga. — The Cobb County School District is set to wrap up construction on a number of major projects throughout the district. Seventeen schools are on track to open by the time school begins on August 13, with the exceptions of Garrett and McCleskey middle schools.
