$100 Million Donation to Build UCLA Conf. Center
LOS ANGELES — A Southern California business leader and UCLA alumni has made the second largest financial gift the university has ever received. Meyer Luskin and wife Renee donated $100 million to the university.
Luskin, who earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from UCLA in 1949, is passionate about the school’s role as a public resource and agent for social mobility.
Richard Lambeck

The NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate announced that Richard Lambeck, B.S., M.S., P.E., has been appointed as Chair of the Construction Management Department. Lambeck has more than 45 years of experience in the field. He is the Clinical Associate Professor of Construction Management at the school and has served as principal of RL Project Management since 2004.
Mike McDonald

Munters AB, a supplier of energy efficient solutions for air treatment and damage restoration, announced the retirement of Mike McDonald, effective April 1. In his 15 years with the company, McDonald held various management positions, most recently serving as Group Vice President and President of the Dehumidification Division.
Natalie R. Petzoldt

Canon Design appointed Natalie R. Petzoldt, AIA, LEED AP, EDAC, to the position of Associate Principal. Petzoldt specializes master planning, academic medical centers and comprehensive oncology facilities. Petzoldt graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Kansas State University, where she also received a School Medal from the American Institute of Architects.

Architectural and interior design firm Hord Coplan Macht has announced the promotion of Jim Determan, AIA, to principal. A member of the firm’s education studio. Determan specializes in the design of K-12 private and public schools and university buildings. Determan is the past president of the American Institute of Architect’s Baltimore office, and a former regional director for the AIA.
