]]> AnnÌýBarolak, AIA, MBA, is the newÌýEducation & Science Principal with the Philadelphia office of HDR. She bringsÌýnearly twoÌýdecades of experience shaping higher education environmentsÌý— as well asÌýexpertiseÌýin programming,ÌýdesignÌýand client serviceÌý— to the role.Ìý

BarolakÌýhasÌýled pursuit teams forÌýmore thanÌý150 projects ranging from science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) buildings and medical research spaces to libraries, studentÌýhousingÌýand campus support buildings. SheÌýapplies her passion for excellence across proposal development, client interviews, and sector-specific marketing efforts.ÌýÌý

In this new role,ÌýBarolakÌýwill work toÌýstrengthen relationships with colleges and universities across the Northeast.ÌýSheÌýis an active member of the Society for College and University PlanningÌýand is also involved withÌýthe Association of Higher Education Facilities Officers and the National Association of College and University Business Officers.ÌýShe was previously Vice President for the Philadelphia office of STV, prior to which she was a project executive at Page Southerland Page Inc.
