CULBERTSON,MONT — The bang-bang-bang of construction work occasionally interrupted staff during its inservice Tuesday.

Construction crews and consultants returned to Joseph Estabrook Elementary School in Lexington yesterday to blow fresh air into the building after finding higher than expected levels of toxic chemicals earlier this week. Lexington Kentucky – United States – Lexington – Education – Counties

In a letter to parents this week, Donna McCormick-Miller, principal of Makefield Elementary School, said the school鈥檚 new opening day will be Tuesday, Sept. 7, instead of Sept. 1 due to the ongoing renovation and construction at the school.

WOODSFIELD – A major step was taken Thursday night when six contracts were awarded for construction of the new Beallsville School facilities, which are part of a $86.4 million building project in the Switzerland of Ohio Local School District.

A new Charles E. Perry Elementary School is scheduled to begin construction this fall, a move that seeks to benefit the local community but comes with a long-term monetary commitment by Sampson County 鈥� it is just another the county will be shouldering in annual debt service for school construction.

Nearly everything that is supposed to be ready for the opening of school in Fulton will be ready, officials say. The district is in the midst of a pair of construction projects involving every building. Most of the work is saved for the summer break, putting crews on tight schedules to have work completed by the opening of school in September.
