The School Board unanimously agreed May 6 to the construction of a cellular tower that would be located on high school property near the citys branch of the U.S. Post Office on Pearl Road.

Marple Commissioners voted 6-0, May 10, to borrow and issue a general obligation note for $500,000 to finance the former Marple Grade School demolition and park construction project. The loan and note will be negotiated with TD Bank.
